I guess the world was really freaked out by the movie “Ex-Machina”,
or it seems. The majority of these articles are fear-mongering articles who are
spearheaded by Stephen Hawking, with vibrant headlines and pictures from the
movie… maybe that’s just a product of a sensationalistic-seeking media.
Nevertheless, there was already lots of discussion before Zuckerberg’s big
announcement, and the general consensus is that there is a general unacceptance
of artificial intelligence, which is weird because that’s basically saying that
they are scared of progress/progress should be discouraged in this case, which
will never happen when people have the chance to make money off of it.
